What is the purpose of life?

An eternal question, what is the purpose of life?, occupied philosophers’ thoughts throughout history. Stone pictographs reveal even primitive peoples reflected on this query. Each one has the capacity to define his or her personal thinking about politics, economics and religion.

Speaking of this being 'Merica now,

“President-elect Trump is creating a government of, by, and for the oil and gas industry,” stated Ken Kimmell, president of the Union of Concerned Scientists. “Never before have we seen such a concentration of extreme wealth and privilege in a single cabinet.” [emphasis mine]

It’s Hard To Overstate How Anti-Environment Donald Trump’s Cabinet ...

Great cartoon, Grinning Cat.

Trump, who had earlier decided that he did not need the briefings and had assigned Vice-President-elect Mike Pence to receive them, said on Tuesday that Putin was a “much better choice.”

Grinning Cat, you just assumed AN readers would recognize the Borowitz Report comment as satire. Please remember some of our members are not native English speakers, and might not realize it's satire right away.

I'm sure that there's arrogance in there somewhere, too, but I think it's mostly indifference, in this particular instance.  He seems to be in this for the self-aggrandizement and financial self-enrichment.
