I think meditation serves creativity because it puts everything out of the mind thereby providing for new ideas to surface. In the same way I think it serves circumstance evaluation and analytical thought. Because it involves solitude I feel predisposed to it. In the sense that it has a freshening effect it is a substitute for travel. However, although I am a practitioner I have yet to write the stunning piece of music that I am attempting to. Nonetheless, I believe that I eventually will and that meditation will be meaningfully involved.

One of the problems with traveling is the expense. I am retired now and my income is not what it used to be. Also, it is on my mind to write a piece of music that I consider to be stunning. I want to do it before I get too old. My idea is to write music now and then produce what I have when I am older. Traveling now would interfere with that. I would rather create things than see things.

I can imagine that Croatia has a very beautiful seafront. As for visiting I am not much on traveling. For on thing I am retired and have to live within my retirement means. Also, however, I tend to be a solitary person. I find myself seeking solitude when I am with others for a period of time. I enjoy being introspective and being introspective is inconsistent with entertaining others. My energy manifests itself in a creative manner rather than in a social one. I have no unfriendly feelings but just tend to be introverted.

You could compare Croatia to the state I live in, Maryland, and it is one of the smallest. There are about 300 million people in the U.S. and they have a very strong right to express themselves. Additionally, there is very much a free market system here so people understand well that they may create or invent products and then sell them. Many dream of becoming wealthy this way. As a result the copyright office here is inundated.

I assumed that it was more difficult to get ownership of a musical composition in Croatia because you mentioned the bureaucracy there. I understand now that you were saying again that you just don't like bureaucracy.

It is easier to do things in this country. I meditate with candles but I also do a silly type of meditating. I have always loved to dance so I sometimes go through dance steps in a meditative way. I develops my rythm and precludes me from feeling physically awkward in my daily activities.

I have been writing some simple happy type music to evoke various feelings in the listener. Each piece is meant to evoke a different feeling. I would call it relaxation music. Some of it is meant to be listened to while meditating. I have also written some jitterbug choreography and a rock and roll song to go with it. Right now I have thirteen pieces of music and the jitterbug choreography in the copyright office here. Currently it takes the copyright office an average of 22 months to process a song.

I know how you feel. There have been many times when I have felt the need to stand for principle even knowing that I would experience consequences. Sometimes a person has to. I respect you for it.

I don't always say what I think or feel because people will sometimes just use it against me. Why should I give them that chance? The objective is to serve good and, as strange as it may sound, sometimes being truthful is not in the interest of that objective. As an example, suppose you knew that someone wanted to kill one of you daughters and he asked you if you knew where she was when you were hiding her. It would not serve good to tell him the truth.

You sound like a person who talks from your heart. It is good to have you as a friend.
