As far as I know, there is no way to change group creators (different than group moderators, more control over the group) at this time. This is one of my "issues", so I'm writing Brother Richard (A|N site creator) about it.
Happy birthday colleague. But you must imagine that I am in the Southern Hemisphere. Then, we are in winter (and you are in summer). The feelings are different, and as we are less people in the South, it is more exclusive :-)
But remember, we are the perfect perfectionists. Enjoy our day.

I think that the modertors are just no longer around. No way to know. The trouble with starting up new group is that then there are 4. It would be nice to keep one going, and close the other 2 for members or comments. Deleting the group also deletes all prior discussions, which most people dont want.
Here is a long thread about our attempts to merge the gay groups. The bottom line is that we need a go ahead from A|N administration to remove the non-active group modertors, and replace with someone active. So far, we've been unsuccessful. I will try again. We can't change group names or information until someone active is the moderator.
Hello. Welcome to Atheist Nexus from one ardent atheist to another (check out My Profile and you will see).
I have been running a busy discussion group here since September 2008. It is called "Origins: Universe, Life, Earth, religion....etc".
Do try visiting and joining in. Terry (Oxford).
Welcome to A|N and to the Gay Atheist discussion group. I hope that you will become involved, browse through the discussions, put in your own 2 cents, and feel at home.
Speaking only for myself, bears are my favorite 2-legged animal.
