"True betsy. Im not even a "true sports fan". Ive been turned off by the politics of sports for years now. At the pro level you can see people that rail against tax increases get on board for a tax hike that brings a new stadium to town.…"
"Hey guys. Like everyone, I'm looking for skeptics in my area. Would love to find an atheist/skeptics group that meets somewhere close. I'm in Bellevue. Near Sandusky (cedar point). But even if you don't live close, feel free to drop…"

Fuck yeah man. I saw Divine Heresy last year with All That Remains and Chimaira and I was fucking blown away. The drummer Tim Yeung is insane. And the new Chimaira is awesome. I've heard a lot of people say they don't like it because its not as fast as their other albums but I love their slow grooves. Yeah not a lot of guys like it when I talk shit about sports. My problem isn't really with the actual act of playing its the idolizing and worshipping of athletes. Like you said people bitch about taxes but its fine to build a new stadium thats serves no benefit to society except entertainment. What I truly hate is how much athletes are paid. We pay them tens of millions of dollars to play with a ball while teachers and people who help with charities and humanitarian organizaions don't get paid shit. Hell doctors, engineers, and scientists don't even make us much as athletes. Just shows what americans really value and worship...not jesus ha ha. But yeah man thanks for the comment and feel free to drop me a line whenever. Later.
