Skipping Sunday School: Atheist Indoctrination?

Posted on May 14, 2010 at 6:59am 1 Comment

Would you like to know the religious affiliations of my parents? Well, too bad. Because, get this: I don't know.

Isn't that great!

I am 29 years old, almost 30, and I have no idea if either of my parents are religious. For all the grievances I might have towards them (which, since I am using my real name here, I would rather not divulge), the single fact that I have no idea if they are religious or, if so, what religion, is the single… Continue

Neural Bots: An Experiment in Evolution.

One of the things I like about being a hobby programmer is that you can work on projects of your own choosing without having to meet any arbitrary deadlines. It's even more fun when I can combine my love of programming with a topic which interests me, such as evolution. This is how a short lived experiment called "Neural Bots" got started.

Neural Bots was an experiment in evolving artificial intelligence. Using a type of simulated brain called a "neural network", I wondered if it… Continue

If you're not Vegan, you're stupid.

Could you please give me the sourcecode for your evolving program?

I#m a hobby programmer, too and I want to see how other people are creating neural networks.

Hello again.
Delighted to be a friend.
Actually, to atheists religions are blatant frauds; but religionists view religion otherwise. They have been deceived, via their upbringing, to accept as true all the nonsense through which we can see so easily. That's why I suggest that the means by which they were deceived carries a measure of 'cunning' with it.

Hi Darren, and welcome to this friendly meeting place where we recognise--like you do as a freethinking atheist--that all the gods are phoney and religions are cunning frauds used to control people;
and how tragic and inexcusable it is that women and minorities have been oppressed these last two thousand years and more.
