DeeVee replied to Keia's discussion My daughter's teacher tells the class to pray.
"Excuse me?! If their heads are down on the desk and they are praying....they are not learning. Secondly, religion is a belief in magic...this teacher is teaching kids that magic works to help people. If she can prove it, then I'd say go right…"

Yes you are so correct because we can't allow these fanatics to out right rule and grab control. They want the world to come to an end and its sad they might actually make there dreams come true. Its horrible how they can't see the beauty in science and humanism. We as a united force have to get into the government and eliminate that fear.Well i know of the atheist empire they sell shirts and media and try to spread information and truth about ideas. Our problem with atheist like dawkins said we are like a herd of cats lol hard to get us together.Wow thats interesting that they want to represent ever one in that state ridiculous.I just wish that the under cover atheist would reveal there selves and uncover there true ideals that are locked with there false shroud.Evidence is there but they dont seem to understand. Also i might add that the united allied atheist try to do that but the atheist media is in genius great idea :).....

And thank you for welcoming me. I feel right at home. Each year we seem to be better organized, and some in the media are down right friendly when it comes to allowing Atheists to express their views. But, I would like to see something like an "Atheist Media Coalition" in which there is a concerted effort to a) provide an alert system of any attacks on Atheists, b) provide us with occasions and support when Atheism is given positive spin, c) when such religious activists start assaulting Atheists and FreeThinkers, or for example when Rev. James Dobson sets up a boycott against major chain stores who do not put the word "christmas" into their advertising, d) list major newspapers and media outlets where Atheists should be writing letters, and e) alert Atheists to local, state, and government promotion of religion (for example: The State of Missouri has tried for the third year to make "christianity" the "state religion."

I may have not included enough areas of concern, and if not, please add them to this list. If anyone knows of such a group, or groups who already engage in this kind of activism for Atheists, please let me know.

Hugs, DeeVee

Hmm very true i did have a feeling we were much more intelligent. Its amazing how easy there fragile minds are they never began to simple fathom that if god made us who made him or her.I have always believed belief in god was a slow evolutionary process ha who knows if it was beneficial or not.Plus they say we are closed minded can you believe that lol.a population of people who believe the earth is 6000 years old it is sad how many intelligent human brains are being wasted my dear :)
