Wow, rough place to be an atheist. No matter how much I think we're under attack by religious extremists, here in the US, there's always somewhere else to look that is having even worse problems.
At least our constitution supports us, here in this country. Aren't things a bit more fluid, in terms of governing authority, over there?
And the US has had its hands in Egypt's politics for so long. I wonder what the heck people thought they were doing, back in the 60's and 70's, when the US had it's fingers in so much. Looking back, it seems like we only ever made stuff worse.
I swear, sometimes I'm ready to move to Canada and wash my hands of this place. For a country that started with such good ideas, a couple hundred years ago, we're such a bunch of screw-ups, on the global scene, recently.
