A philosophy class at age 45 finally enlightened me. I am surprised when I learn about free thinkers in their 20s, but more shocked at people who seem unchangeably devoutly religious in their 60s, 70s 80s and beyond. One observation I have made with almost all my theist friends is that, when challenged hard enough they always contradict themselves-----
