Jackson, thank you for sharing your story and the process that led you to critical thinking and rational decision making. Life is a beautiful and precious thing, but not one given and taken by superstition. The wonder of looking into a clear night sky, seeing all those stars, and knowing I am made up of some of the same materials and formed by natural processes as they are. I also have the gift of consciousness and am awake and aware of my surroundings.

How did you decide to leave your homeland and come to the U.S.?

I am not very proud of my country right now and intend to work very hard to elect a different president of the U.S. I feel heartsick about what he does.

I hope you will be witness to the non-violent way of changing our leaders; I hope the change will be a decent and ethical one.

Please consider joining a group to meet people and talk about anything that's on your mind, Hang With Friends.

I also recommend Eco-Logical and Climate Concerns, since the climate is changing so drastically.

After you've searched for topics of interest in "Groups" above and in the "Forums", don't forget to look at recent activity which hides along the right margin of the page all the way at the bottom.
