BTW: If you want to see my posts on that ABC Compass, religious discussion forum,  my alias is "goiday_myd"  The myd was supposed to be MyD or Doctor of Mythology. but they wouldn't allow me to use capital letters.   Bye for now.

Enjoy!   :-D~

Hey Jacob, how are you doing?

Hope everything is going well for you, though I don't miss debating, I don't have the time to do enough research to debate properly. My daughter has me getting back into playing squash, she worries about my fitness, especially sitting down at a computer for hours is really bad for the circulation.

I have another friend who is in the same situation (surrounded by Christians) as yourself on A/N, Katherine Hughes.

Though I don't feel I have enough in common with her to really be helpful, since I'm surrounded by Atheists with almost no Christians in sight, so I really don't know how either of you really feel.

Though I am back trolling "beginningandend.com" again, because the followers of that site would have to be among the most idiotic loons on the entire planet.

This time I'm posing as a moderate Catholic woman (Mrs Robbins), because they banned me in my previous aliases (Peter Daynetree, Sagey" etc... and I couldn't get back on because they could detect my IP address.  Since then I've changed IP address and they haven't worked out my identity (Yet), LOL.   There is little research needed in Trolling and it is more fun than debating.  Debating can get serious, trolling never does, because it is all tongue in cheek.

Another site I continually post on is the Australian ABC Compass program where I do a little debating and some trolling at times, though research is minimal.

Though I'm not against all Theism.

The New Covenant movement I can handle, I hope they gain a big following in the US, as they are so moderate as Secular Christians, that they are almost Atheist.

In fact the Christian preacher Michael Dowd, and I are so alike in our thinking that I could call him my Theistic twin.

His concept of God, in no way conflicts with my beliefs, he is as much into scientific knowledge as I am and he believes that ecology is the new Theology and reality is the new Biblical Scriptures with Evolution and Natural forces being the personification of God.

Even I have no disagreement with any of that.

If the US was to adopt their view of Christianity (thus remain Christian) it would certainly be a much more Intelligent society.

His Christianity is only 5 degrees separation from Agnosticism and 10 degrees from Atheism.

Just look at Loren's blog "The New Covenant Group - and Some Rather Intriguing Ideas".

Hope you are having lots of FUN!   :-D~

LOL   :-D~

Hey Jacob: You might wonder why I flipped out of Debate.Org.

So I feel I owe you an explanation.

Orders from the family.

Wife and daughter noticed I was spending too much time on the computer and complained, as well as having issues with freezing up when posting (very frustrating).

It gives me more time to myself and the vegetable garden, which was suffering from neglect.

I originally went on Debate.org to troll, not to get serious and waste time, but I did start to waste a lot of time, work suffered from that as well.

Less frustration and more me time!   :-D~

Welcome aboard Jacob, it's me, Sagey, as you probably already know.

See you made the journey here unscathed.  LOL  :-D~

You can blog on any subject, so long as you don't hog blogging space, as I've been told off for doing that.

Join into any group that suits you.

And there are many here who also feel isolated as Atheists in a theistic social environment, some are stuck in highly Christian communities like yourself, and some are in highly Islamic communities, where being an Atheist can be dangerous.

Have fun!
