James M. Kauffman has not received any gifts yet
Nov. 8, 2018
My wonderful wife of 25 years, Patty Pullen, died in early 2012. I doubt she's in heaven, although that's where most believers would imagine she's gone. She lives in loving memory of me, my kids, and my grandkids.
I'm now remarried to a wonderful woman who was my Ph.D. advisee long ago (she's 23 years younger than I, the best teacher I've ever seen). Her husband died in a fall about 6 weeks after my wife died of multiple brain diseases. She and her late husband and I and my late wife had been good friends for over a decade, so it's not as if we didn't know each other. We greatly admired each other prior to the loss of our spouses but had no romantic connection.
Soon after our mutual loses, we did. Now, I feel as if I've fallen into the honey pot again. Although Jeanmarie grew up in a devout Catholic family of Polish origin, we share a disbelief in the supernatural.
