Hello Janie:

I just joined AN and notice you and I have a fair amount in common (location/age/geakette).

I grew up in Muncie but now live and work in Indy. Did you go to highschool in Muncie too? (I went to a few Muncie schools, plus Anderson U.)

I'm just trying to touch base with a few Hoosier atheists and see if any of us are on the same page (we seem to be a very rare breed).

Sedona! I thought only New Agers lived up there.

We used to have a cholla in our front yard. Some years ago a little bird somehow burrowed into it and built a nest. One day when my wife and I came home we saw some strange motion near the cactus: Two fledglings had crucified themselves on the side of the cholla while trying to leave the nest. We painstakingly extricated the two little birds and took them to a wildlife shelter. The next day I dug up that damned cholla and trashed it.

What would a wholesome Hoosier girl know about a brewery? (Actually I am pretty close to Cave Creek).

It might have been your pigeon, but apparently the monkey has won its heart.

*grin* I can understand that - it took me awhile to find my feet in here - but I'm hooked now :) which does and hugely to the amount of time I spend online - I also belong to another Ning site - one devoted to my favourite band Otep lol. Hope to see more of you around here, it's certainly interesting :)

Haha, yeah, I don't really know what other people think, but I kind of loved my school and it's generally top in the rankings of standardized tests scores. Not that those really mean a whole lot.

Anyhow, geekette is definitely a cool profession. One I aspire to.

Hey, I live in Muncie! Well, when I'm not away at college. I went to Burris and my dad works at Ball State. It's nice to meet some one else there who has the right idea.
