im using it for a monitor-less windows xp machine that i am using as a fileserver, and im curious if constantly having tightvnc running is like leaving a gaping hole in my network.
how secure do you think it would be with firewalls and routers properly set up?

There is a fairly active social group called Freethought Society of the Midlands (Formerly "Godless Columbia"). They have various meets, usually once or more a week, from Sandhills/NE to Lexington.
