About Me:
Hey everyone!

Former Catholic, progressive liberal, semi-closet metalhead and a true city person. Bernie supporter!

I wear black a lot.
I hate Coffee.
Have a crush on a young William Shatner.
Love Tetris

I've had an ongoing struggle with confidence my whole life especially when I was a young Catholic. Atheism was that splash in the face for me to take personal responsibility.

People pressing senator during town hall for Universal healthcare.

Posted on April 24, 2017 at 11:30pm 2 Comments

I absolutely love this. In Town Halls across the USA, people have been stepping it up.

In Las Vegas during a town hall, Senator

Catherine Cortez Masto was getting pressed about Universal healthcare. After skating around it a few times, people were not satisfied with her answer.

DNC, you done fucked up.

Posted on November 9, 2016 at 12:58am 15 Comments

The DNC betrayed their people's interests, when they had a candidate that galvanized stadiums with his words and brought in independents, they silenced his words so they could have their piece of the establishment pie. When they were caught lying and doing bad things instead of taking responsibility they pointed fingers at Russia. 3rd party voters didn't split the vote, the Democrats split their own votes by putting up a second Republican. The Democrats just lost the house and are shrinking by… Continue

Mother Teresa was no Mother Teresa

Posted on September 4, 2016 at 8:49am 11 Comments

Mother Teresa is being canonized today. Thanks to the people here, actually, they showed me a Christopher Hitchens documentary on her showing her cruelty, extortion, supporting evil dictators, and the appalling conditions for her hospice in Calcutta.

Not that her sainthood title means anything to us atheists, but it spreads the propaganda that she was a good person. Mother Teresa was one of the greatest con artists of our lifetime and got away with it with impunity.

Good News: Religious Right losing faith on the Republicans?

There are several articles I read and they have lost some power over the years and they are now even more split over Trump:

Hey just stopping by to say I really liked your profile description:

"It was one day, in which I prayed the hardest, then I realized, it wasn't god, the boogeyman, or any other outside source... it was myself. I had never taken advantage of the emotional freedom giving to me by existing as a living breathing creature. Ironically it was through prayer, I realized that god did not exist, and fate was decided on what you did next."

Sounded a bit poetic. :)

Thanks for reading my little poem and commenting.

As much as I would like a cookie I am hard pressed to construct a valid argument in support of Transformers 2.

Hi, you're probably not aware of it, but you are reason I discovered this site. You posted the name on another site which I'm also on. So thanks.

It's nice to be able to express my views without concern. I find this site rather refreshing.

While you are arguing about the "Lowered"
There are other things more important like keeping the CO2 level below 350 ppm.

Hi J,

Are you sorry you asked the question about Jesus? I am about half way through a book entitled Zero. The first and second halves are about religion. Finally Charles Seife is getting to something meaningful. Boaring. His last book was pretty good.

Do you think religious brainwashing realization is like realizing circumcision is unnecessary?
