God sent the storm to help Obama?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Regina M Oct 31, 2012. 3 Replies

Isn't the obvious religious explanation for the storm that god wanted Obama to look presidential and thus get reelected?  How long before some televangelist comes forward with that explanation?Continue

Is there such a thing as conscience?

Started this discussion. Last reply by DarkBlack Oct 17, 2012. 8 Replies

Conscience is a concept extrapolated from the feeling I, and some people, get when contemplating a questionable action, or after having committed one.  It will either make me make a correct choice,…Continue

Does Any Rand represent your atheist philosophy?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Roger Wehage Apr 23, 2013. 32 Replies

With Paul Ryan's selection as the vice-presidential candidate with Mitt Romney, much is being made of Ayn Rand and her philosophy of "greed is good, charity is evil."  Since Rand was an atheist, I…Continue

Hi to Jerry Mesner in Albuquerque. Welcome to this great meeting place with its rational people who recognise religion for the superstition and fraud that it is --- and that God and gods are nothing but fictions inside people's heads.

We invite you to come and see, and to make good new friends.
