I once was blind...

Many atheists start as believers in some kind of religious doctrine but eventually come out of it. I'm one of those. I was raised by my devout grandmother and my abusive, alcoholic mother. Grandma told me that if my faith was deep enough, prayer would see me through any crisis. Thanks for the friend add. I haven't seen Dean or Kris in way too many years. I'm glad the planetarium gig is working out well for you. You might want to introduce yourself to Richard Valcourt in the sff group. He does volunteer work at the visitor center at Mauna Kea.
