Long time atheists. Converting my writing urges (5 books, over 200 articles) from corporate governance to freethought topics. PhD in research and clinical psychology, but have long departed from that practice.

And, hero though I may somehow be to him, I declare that John Carver is my hero, especially when it comes to the awesomely important complex of matters related to board governance. He has taught me more, with his books and incredible seminars, about what a board of directors should do--and maybe more important, what it should not do--than a host of other "authorities" could begin to do. Anyone who cares about the governance of organizations (and that ought to include pretty much everyone) should learn about the Carter Governance Model. His modeling and theorizing is not just interesting, it is crucial to practical and effective functioning.
with high regards indeed for John Carver,
Ed B. (author, with Michael Buckner, of In Freedom We Trust [Prometheus Books, 2012])
