I belong to a nontheist group just starting in Green Bay. We meet every Sunday at the Harmony Cafe on W. Mason, next to Goodwill. Time is 10:15 to noonish. So far, we are very small. All are welcome. I am surprised at the number of people who are in your group. It is wonderful to see thinking people. Dawn
Yes, that's a full wave rectifier, yeah, I'm into electronics.
I'm an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician (robotics tech).
Too bad the recession has pretty much trashed the field, but recessions can't last forever... and my love for electronics won't die.
Good to see someone else recognises a bridge rectifier when they see one. You'd be surprised how many "professionals" don't recognise it on sight... it's almost scary.
Welcome to Atheist Nexus with its 8000 good friends.
A useful group to join, with its 130 discussions and numerous video films, is “ORIGINS” (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion....).
One discussion (over 70 posts) is "Proud to be Atheist". There's much to feel good about
because atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground—far from the mental slavery of superstitious people who submit to a narrow-minded controlling clergy with their imaginary god, heaven and hell.
