About Me:
I'm a young senior who thinks that most Americans are not only narrowminded, but are behaviorally restrained due to their (religious and nonreligious) beliefs. I think that many search for love like they search for a god. Like religious rapture, it is all encompassing, but it is only emotion and when it becomes all encompassing, it turns into a spiritual experience. The bottom line is that it is addictive. Sure, we all need to express our emotions, but not to the point of addiction. This kind of love turns our partners into slaves. Do you really think that you own your partner and vice versa? If you do, then you are as crazy as those religious fanatics. Relationships are based on personal needs: emotional, intellectual and physical. So who am I? From the needy scale, one being the least needy and 10 being the most needy, I am a 4, 7 and 8.5, repectively. Emotionally, I am fairly stable. Intellectually, I hunger to relate to others who can follow my thoughts without getting confused. Physically, I'm in constant need of exercise due to my age. Since it is an ongoing need, I have to use it so I don't lose it. Consequently,I play a lot sports, and workout. On the sexual side, I'm lost. There are so few women who would enjoy the company of a sexually active male at my age. Plus, what is left, most wouldn't even understand the need for sexual fulifillment as a senior. Most women, even when they were younger, probably didn't understand, thanks to those crazy attitudes towards sex taught to all of us, either through religion and/or culture. The bottom line is that the physical closeness and the climax is something that the body needs to stay healthy. Yea, it is a bitch being a senior because many of the options to stay healthy start disappearing. So if you are an older female, living to close to the DC area, I welcome meeting you on an intellectual and activity level. I can enjoy what is offered. A word for the younger women, Seniors do it better because they do it to please. Can you say that about your last lover? ;)
Major breakthrough with HIV......
In Germany, a man with cancer and HIV was given a bone marrow transplant from a donor with a "rare HIV-resistant genetic mutation". The patient has been free of HIV for two years. I wonder with the help of Stem-cell research if we could take advantage of this knowledge.

Moving Beyond Atheism

Posted on June 14, 2010 at 12:51pm 0 Comments

How can one move beyond atheism, you ask? Well, one would have to understand the mindset of the believer and how it evolved. We are all believers. Atheists may not believe in a god, but they believe in other ideas that also don't have a realistic premise. That is the keyword, premise. One can have a very complex mind and dwell in reasoning that is beyond reproach, but is the premise realistic?. For example, do you believe that all people are good? Is that realistic? My contention is that… Continue

Healthcare certainly is not one of republicans favorite topics. I can't believe that it is the achilles heal tho. Republicans lie, cheat and steal and oh yea, kill their way to power which ultimately suppresses the voters again and again. I think the achilles heal maybe though themselves. They always alienate themselves. Maybe one day people won't allow themselves to be exploited by their tactics.
