No, I don't live in California, although I did live in Pomona for 7 years back in the late 60's and 70's. I have a son in Santa Cruz and daughter in Sac. (I live in Indiana).  I checked out your applecreek website. Still not sure what you do.

Welcome, Pharmer! Glad you could join us. :D

Please consider joining a group to meet people and talk about anything that's on your mind, Hang With Friends.

I also recommend Eco-Logical and Climate Concerns, since the climate is changing so drastically.

AndWriting to Congress, where we share ideas to make contacting our congress critters easy.

After you've searched for topics of interest in "Groups" above and in the "Forums", don't forget to look at recent activity which hides along the right margin of the page all the way at the bottom.

Hello Pharmer. It's good to have you join us. Surely one of us lives in Humboldt Co. But if not, at least you have the rest of us to "meet and mix with". I, too, am wondering about your "handle" (Pharmer).

Welcome, Pharmer, to Atheist Nexus. Does your name imply a farmer, or is this a name independent of farming? I have driven down US-101 once, so undoubtedly went through your town. My usual route is down US-5.

My hunch is you live in an active earthquake zone. Do you feel shaking of the Earth from time to time?
