Hey Rebecca!

Don't know if you're still on here but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.

I'm just south of you in Centuria.

Gimme a holler when you get a chance.

Hi Rebecca,
I live in Eau Claire, and I agree with Bob Batton. Here in the North we're surrounded on all sides by the religious. To illustrate my point, I work at a Catholic institution, where hanging over my desk is a large crucifix. You know the kind, with a mini-sculpture of Christ's tortured corpse watching every move. Yuck. I'm glad to know I'm not the only godless Wisconsinite.

Well, Rebecca, I live in Eau Claire, so I know how it feels to be surrounded on all sides by the religious.

Hi Rebecca! Just saw your post on the WI Atheists group. I'm from northwest wi...sort of. I'm in Menomonie, but I'm originally from slightly north of here. Glad to see someone else from the general area here!

Welcome to the Douglas Adams fangroup. We are a quiet, but still odd group!

Welcome to Atheist Nexus with its 8000 good friends.

A useful group to join, with its 125 discussions and numerous video films, is “ORIGINS” (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion....).

One discussion (over 70 posts) is "Proud to be Atheist".
There's much to feel good about
because atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground—far from the mental slavery of superstitious people who submit to a narrow-minded controlling clergy with their imaginary god, heaven and hell.
