Limiting temperature rise to 1.5°C - NOT

Scientists: Window for avoiding 1.5C global warming ‘closed’According to a study published in Nature, without carbon capture and storage (which doesn't exist commercially) there's "slim chance" we can keep temperatures from rising above 1.5°C.Given that we're almost…See More

Jet Stream Breaches Equator

Yesterday I watched the Jet Stream cross the Equator at earth nullschool. "Isn't this impossible?" I wondered. Each hemisphere has a separate jet stream. New Jet Stream behavior has emerged. Emergent phenomena such as this might be symptomatic of the 2016…See More

Poo Fools (us all)

Day after day I see Atheist Nexus members argue scripture details, spreading theistic memes here, without realizing their self-betrayal. Memetics still seems, to most, an abstract intellectual debate. We can't grasp religion as an infective agent. We can't see ourselves as merely copying machines for viruses.…

Thank you for the warm welcome and the warning. I thought that message was weird. I just ignored it. I intend on joining a few groups. I've already joined the Atheists who love science group.

I am an Atheist.

I also do not believe in Global Warming as this has been one cool spring for SC. I dont believe man has anything to do with the climate.

The dinosaurs had nothing to do with it either and look what happened to them.

But thanks for the welcome anyway.

Hey, Ruth!

I just pulled up the Noam Chomsky group with no problem.  I wonder if there was an issue with your Adobe Flash plug-in, with all the YouTube videos in the header of that group.  I've occasionally had similar trouble with Flash and A|N.

Worth a look at least.
