"Turkish television Kanal T is launching a game show where a Muslim imam, a Christian Priest, a rabbi and a Buddhist monk try to convert 10 atheists, reports Reuters. Converts win the pilgrimage of their chosen faith: Mecca for Muslims, the Vatican for Christians, Jerusalem for Jews and Tibet for Buddhists."

They say the purpose of the show is to get people to believe in SOMETHING, though I know a few Atheistic… Continue

I thought you might be interested in this event in Amarillo:

Panhandle Humanists and Freethought Oasis welcome Recovering From Religion Executive Director Jerry DeWitt to speak on Embracing Identity Suicide: How an evangelical minister went from faith to freedom.

After more than 25 years of Pentecostal ministry, Jerry holds the distinction of being the first graduate of The Clergy Project, a private, invitation-only "safe house" community of current and former ministers who no longer hold the supernatural beliefs of their religious traditions.  The Clergy Project was started by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins, and former minister and author Dan Barker.

Bring a friend to hear Jerry speak in Amarillo, TX, on Thursday, February 16, from 7-9 pm at the Southwest Branch Amarillo Public Library, Meeting Room A, 6801 W 45th.  Admission is free and open to the public; $10 suggested donation.

Panhandle Humanists hold twice monthly educational meetings that are free and open to the public.  Our vision is to provide a nurturing, reliable, self-aware and self-understanding Humanist group, focused on active exploration of information and ideas, and tasks that positively benefit and impact humans.  We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting!  Visit our website for more details.

I loved the look on Mayhem's face when he said he lived on a compound.

When someone is so easily convinced of idiotic beliefs, no wonder they don't want their followers(or sheeple as i like to call them) to talk about their views and keep them in compounds.

Awesome video. I never knew that Mayhem was an atheist.

I can't wait for UFC 100, it's going to be epic.
