Thanks for the links! I'll keep an eye on the meeting times in case I end up in EC on the right day. I was actually in town the last couple of days getting my car worked on. Fortunately, my subbing year is off to a good start. I have work all week, even if it is only half days.
I'm sure our acoustics class minimized the math, but I had to wait to get into it, and then it had been 3 or 4 years since I'd taken any math classes. :) I loved the theory part, though. Since it was very basic, the work took under five minutes to do.
I did get called for 5 days of subbing this afternoon. I'm off to a good start, even though they're all a ways away.
I haven't been able to find any free thought groups in Menomonie so far, but then, I couldn't find the fb page for the Eau Claire one yet either. I'll just keep looking. I'd love to swing by a meeting sometime though if I'm in the area.
Excellent! I loved my acoustics class in college. The math kicked my butt at first, but it was a great class. As an added bonus, all of the music majors got to bring in instruments during the music portion and be demonstrators.
It looks like I'm subbing again this year, so I'll have to watch for things going on in Eau Claire. It took me too long to realize I can get there in about a half hour. For the moment, though, I'm fairly hypnotized watching a dinosaur plant uncurl.
