Hi Joel, and welcome to this rational world of Internet atheism---a haven from the superstitions and fictional god of the masses.

We invite you to make good friends by joining the busy group "ORIGINS: Universe, Astronomy, Life, Earth, Humans, Religion, Gods, Atheism, Evolution, Darwin..." with its 475 discussion topics and 2700 members.

So, Joel. What do you think of Hang With Friends? I'd like your ideas about discussions that would appeal to the 14-17 year olds. I'm never going to get younger participants in number unless the social space has something to offer. Suggestions? BTW, I liked your second icon better than this one. Here you seem to be on the defense. Are you feeling that way about Atheist Nexus?

Welcome, joel! Glad you could join us. :D

Please consider joining a group to meet people and talk about anything that's on your mind, Hang With Friends. I don't recommend hurling insults at people who believe stupid things. It doesn't help them to gain insight, only makes them defensive and less able to hear reason. Everybody, during their lifetime, has believed stupid things sometimes. Human beings make mistakes. Let's give ourselves permission to learn from them instead of putting ourselves down. You get more deconversion by treating opponents with respect.
