Proof of Evolution Found!

So, obviously, this is not actual proof.
It's humor, but therein lies human kind's critique on non-sense, like creationism. ^_^ Enjoy!

Introduction (with assorted musings)

*A repost from my other blog. Nobody ever visits it lol.*

My name is unimportant, but I would like to give some background information about myself so as to allow a more intimate transfer of information.

I was born in summer of 1986 to my father, Bob, and mother, Jennifer (not real names). Needless to say, they were overjoyed with the newest and first addition to their family. Let's just go with the name Raphael, which was bestowed upon their screaming and slimy… Continue

Stages of Grief: Anger

My mom is an alcoholic who is dying of lung cancer. She's always been somewhat religious but her admission of being an alcoholic some years ago prompted a full blown return of her previous christian beliefs. Now you pretty much can't be around her for more than an hour without her mentioning how helpful g0d has been in coping with her addiction. When she was diagnosed with cancer, her church attendance/devotion to her faith redoubled.

When I get think about it I get furious…

God's Divine Plan?

Think of the most hideous thing that has ever happened to a single individual or nation. A woman raped and then savagely murdered right in front of her three children, for example. If a "God" really didn't want that to happen, it wouldn't have, would it? Ditto when it comes to the Holocaust and the massive death and suffering caused by "natural" calamities - in fact, all of mankind's suffering

When "the…

Blogging rocks!

OK, so last night I totally bitched about how I haven't been sleeping, and everything wakes me up.......

Yea, so I blogged/ bitched and then I had an awesome nights sleep.

I've decided that blogging, AKA bitching, about not being able to sleep actually helps me sleep.

So, for those who like to read my blogs but aren't particularly interested in hearing me bitch about my latest sleeping patterns I promise to say something about "sleep" in my title…

Have you noticed that

the google ads on this website are spouting god slogans at us. Can we change this somehow? It doesn't bother me all that much and I can live with it. Google Ads with god smut on an Atheist website r we serious?

Children Good Without God

A concerned prospective father sent me a message asking,

"I'd like to learn something as a good father from you. Considering that you're an atheist, how can teach your children how to behave in good manner and ethic. Because when I was a kid, my parents used to tell me "Be good boy and tidy your room then God will bless you...etc." I don't want to say these words to my children as a prospective father. And i wonder what do you…

Bishop warns against Harry Potter and Twilight

When the Harry Potter series was popular, many religious leaders claimed that the series encouraged witchcraft. Some churches even organized book burnings of the Harry Potter series. The Twilight book series may be next.

Texas Board of Education

As I'm sure was the case with many of you, I was up in arms when I found out about this:

Seriously? How do you remove Thomas Jefferson from history? How can anyone justify misrepresenting history in order to push their own agenda?

Thankfully, a friend sent me this NPR interview which helped put… Continue

Exorcized The Demons

I love it when movies about exorcism and demons come out because those films really show just how fictional these things really are. We live in the 21st century and yet the Catholic Church is still running around chasing demons and satanic monsters.

Today I posted a story on my Examiner page about how some Bishop in Australia believes that Harry Potter… Continue

Belief can be Troublesome

I like to think of myself as a rational person, but I have had my moments. When I was 8 or 9 years old, I fervently believed that there was a bear living under my back porch who would eat me if I went into the backyard at night. I have no idea where this belief came from. There was no evidence to support it, and I never told anyone else about it because I knew they would think I was just being silly. I even felt silly believing it, but the fear was still there. Regardless of what I could… Continue
