Catholics Should Leave the Church

The Catholic sex scandal continues and the Vatican has continued to blame everyone except themselves. Most Catholics in America don’t even agree with the Pope on a growing list of important issues and yet they continue to go to church and donate money which gets funneled back to the Vatican to fight for and against issues they don’t agree with and to protect pedophile priests from getting prosecuted.

Justice Department to appeal National Day of Prayer ruling

In response to last week's ruling by U.S District Judge Barbara Crabb that deemed the National Day of Prayer unconstitutional, the Justice Department has filed an appeal against the decision.

The appeal, filed in the Western District of Wisconsin on Thursday, came after condemnation of Judge Crabb's ruling from several high-profile figures.…

Per prior blog post: Pat Condell takes on Anjem Choudary

If you're unfamiliar with Anjem (Andy) Choudary, then check out my prior blog post before reading this one. Anjem is every Muslim apologist's nightmare . . . a real piece of work. I first learned of him a day or two ago when Ayaan Hirsi Ali introduced me to him, via FaceBook. Suddenly, I'm running across him everywhere.

I haven't watched any Pat Condell videos for awhile, so I went to YouTube… Continue

South Park Warns Muslim to Back Off!

Yesterday was the much anticipated conclusion to South Park’s 200th episode which has been causing a great deal of controversy. While the episode didn’t depict the Islamic prophet Mohammad and did what seemed like a major cop-out in revealing that the bear-suited depiction of Mohammad was actually Santa Claus, this episode contained a coded warning to the Muslim world. …

Homer Simpson reveals the nature of faith

I love The Simpsons for saying what we all want to say, in a way that few of us can. The most recent episode has a line so good I simply had to share it with anyone who may have missed it.

"Faith is what you have in things that don't exist." -- Homer… Continue

Warning to RevolutionMuslim.com

It is pretty well known that Muslim fundamentalists freak out when anyone criticizes their religion or even depicts an image of their prophet Mohammad. In fact, Muslims are even known to get violent about it. Their severe reactions to such trivial things have frightened the media and the entertainment industry.

YouTube video posted by Sam Harris: Listen to this idiot!

The "clash of civilzations" is often denied by Islamic apologists. It is, in fact, for real.

Here's the FaceBook intro from Ayaan Hirsi Ali:

Hat tip to my friend Sam Harris for posting this video - "British Islamist Anjem Choudary: Freedom and Democracy Are Idols That Must Be Destroyed and Replaced with Obedience to Allah." In my upcoming book Nomad - release date May 18th in the U.S. - I discuss how the power of Dawa – in English, that is the… Continue

Why it’s great to be a fundamentalist.

Very often these days fundamentalists get a very hard time because of their extremist views and are practically demonised by moderates across the political spectrum as well as each other. But very few of these chastisers have

actually even tried to look at the fundamentalist point of view and find any

positives in it. What we never hear about fundamentalism are the tremendous

advantages to it. So I want to outline these.…

Catholics and their damned rules...

I feel like talking about the sacrament of confession and a priest's role.

I can wrap my head around stating the sin, the penance and the healing. But what I cannot understand is the 'seal of confession', the law that states a Catholic priest cannot disclose what is said about any confession, unless they have the confessors permission.

Fictional situation:

A Catholic someone, gives confession and admits to the killing of an abortion doctor. The media is searching high and… Continue

Just a quick thought about the U.S. being a Christian nation

Claiming the U.S. is a Christian nation because the founders were Christian and it was founded on Christian values is like saying it's a white nation because the founders were white and it was founded on white values. The latter of the two statements is insulting to every citizen of another race and the first is insulting to everyone of another religion. It gives the impression that they are second class citizens.

Atheist Group Allows Members To Molest Children

There is a terrible double standard going on in the world today. Could you imagine how society at large would respond if the headlines of the morning newspapers reported that the largest atheist group in the world had allowed members of their group to molest children? What if the atheist group used member donations to help those who had molested children to move to other areas of the country or even other countries entirely in order to avoid prosecution? …
