I wrote this blog on Myspace, intended for christians to read. I have posted it here to help other newly converted atheists in their quest for helping other theists to realize that God, in the biblical term, cannot exist.
Below are a series of questions. These are questions that I had asked toward the end of my christianity, and was never given a good answer for any of them. I challenge other believers in a god to ask these questions as well. If these questions could be… Continue
My stepson is a devout Catholic. It bothers him that I have an atheist website and a presence on several atheist forums. He has an account on my member forum, at AtheistExile.com, and follows the conversations there as a lurker instead of a participant.
He told me I should try prayer, just for a little while, to see if they come true or not.
I never approach my family members on the subject of religion but if they approach me about it, I don't hold back unless I see them… Continue
How would you say something like - Jesus is a child of an unwed woman, and impregnated by a non-human (Angel, God, whatever).
"His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 1:18)
Here is the question I am trying to answer. How do you express Matthew 1:18 in a concise way. 6 words or less total, starting with "Jesus is a..." . Convey the same information, with quality,… Continue
1. - Why is Atheism such a bad thing? Atheists: never burned others at the stake, never started/engaged in a Crusade and just want to be left alone for the most part. However with the threat of FORCED CONVERSION, anyone would be pissed and come out swinging. Likewise, do you think we would just allow you to publicly deface our belief and ESPECIALLY with such non-sense as you, Kirk Cameron, have presented as "fact"? Why do Extremists think Atheism is such a threat to their… Continue
"Yeah thats right! Super Mecha Death Christ 2000 Version 4.0 Beta - BITCH!" - The Angry Video Game Nerd aka My Personal Jesus's father and therefore God... along with Geddy Lee, Dave Mustaine, Tony Kakko and my Grandfather who was the best man I ever knew and will ever know. If there is a Heaven, he better have a seat in the best part or else I'll be pissed off big time.…
I was standing in my bedroom, about to go to bed, and I had just set my alarm clock. All the nights in the house were off and everything was dark. I had an itch so I closed my eyes tight and started to rub them. BAM! I saw a glaring bright white light, like polished gold, in the form of three large circles, one in the center of my vision with two copies on either side (possibly in the form of a double helix?) all of equal size, made up of many… Continue
So, who is the god of Abraham? Is it Yahweh, God, or Allah? Or, are they all simply one in the same?
It depends on how you define things. The Christian god is supposed to be the same god as Allah, but obviously you can’t actively believe they are all one in the same. Why? Because of the differences of laws, beliefs, and the judgments those gods are involved in. A Christian is not going to look at the things attributed to Allah, such as the prophet Muhammad and the insistence that… Continue
A great source on Christian mythology (read bullshit) can be found at the well researched site Jesus Never Existed (jesusneverexisted.com). I found the whole issue of Jesus’ alleged birth to be particularly interesting. And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a CITY of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And all went to be taxed, every one into…Continue
I think my Art History professor hit upon something last night while discussing the Pazzi Chapel designed by Brunelleschi. He said, “Belief is knowledge, and when you ‘know’ something, you are comfortable. But if I say, ‘WRONG!’ then suddenly your belief in what you thought you knew is called into question and you are uncomfortable.” He went on to discuss why the chapel itself was “comfortable” because it mathematically had correct proportions, etc. etc., but that quote got me… Continue
This section is gonna focus on a quintessential aspect of British culture but one that strangely but completely shares the same principles and creates the exact same negative sociological effects as…well, i’ll get to that later, but this blog is all about that Great British Icon…The Sun…that’s the newspaper, not the really hot planet…just so you know…good.
The Sun is quite an enigma really. It has the highest circulation of any Daily English language newspaper in the world. It has… Continue
I've been debating on and off with Christians in the blog of Rev. Brian Zahnd. Most recently I've been arguing with the Reverend himself in his post titled Knowing and Believing. In the comments following his post I mentioned that I didn't believe that a historical Jesus ever existed. Rev. Zahnd was shocked by my statement and claimed that he had never heard a single scholar make that… Continue
I've lived the last year in San Francisco CA and am about to move back to SC. I encountered the same argument for the bible here that i have in every country I've been in. "Because the bible says so". That's not an argument considering the bible is NOT a historic record. For the majority the gospels written about Jesus were written 100-200 years after he died. That is not a historic record. It is as much of a record as Of Mice and Men. Studying actual historc documents there is no… Continue

There are, in my view, no evidence that can solidly give the slights probability of the existence of a God. Most Christians I know, and I believe all believers, use claims of "personal connection and the so called individual personal experiences" with someone or something which they can not see, as proof of God's or Jesus' existence. Sadly, however, that's not real proof of anything and the fact Hindus, Muslim, Natives Americans and Africans, etc, also have the same so called personal… Continue
The Grenada Informer September 27Th, 2008 online news head lines begins with this words 'When I noticed how the Astoria Hall was packed with both NDC & NNP people and the something happened at Medgar Evers College where I observed that large numbers were unable to get in to attend the Town Hall Meeting held by the NDC Chapter in New York area, I concluded that is evidence that Grenadians have the ability to come together for the advancement of the Nation of Grenada....'
