Leading anti-superstition campaigner gunned down

Narendra Dabholkar, leading anti-superstition campaigner of India, social worker and journalist, was gunned down in Pune by unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants on 20th august, 2013.

SCIENCE MOVEMENT IN INDIA IS VERY WEAK. SCIENCE MOVERS COULD NOT EMERGE AS A PRESSURE GROUP SO FAR. IT IS BECAUSE THEY DID NOT FORM ANY COMMUNITY.

EVERY COMMUNITY IN INDIAN SOCIETY DO HAVE A STEADY VOTE BANK. BUT RATIONALISTS DON'T HAVE SUCH BANKS.

ALL HUMANISTS, ATHEISTS, SECULAR AND RATIONALIST PEOPLE SHOULD UNITE SO THAT THEY ARE RECOGNISED AS A SOCIAL FORCE. THEN POLITICAL LEADERS MUST RECOGNISE THEM.
