Jehovah's Witnesses is a religion that preaches love and acceptance, but the reality is everything is conditional. Love and acceptance is only extended as long as members practice absolute obedience and question nothing, ever. Visit a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, you might notice a few things about their meetings that seem a bit different. One is that all the women will probably be wearing either skirts or dresses. Jehovah’s Witness women can’t wear pants. Women are not, as a…Continue

In the Book of Mormon, Where are the women? The Bible mentions 188 unique women by name. The Book of Mormon mentions 3 unique women by name!
The Book of Mormon Positive Passages (women are only ever addressed twice) speaking of women or speaking to women? 1 Nephi 26:33; Alma 32:23
How does the Book of Mormon portray women?
When women are allowed to rule, everything goes to hell. 2 Nephi 13:12 (Also see 2 Nephi 13:16-17,26, 14:4.…Continue
Qur’an (4:11) – (Inheritance) “The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females” (see also verse 4:176).
Qur’an (2:282) – (Court testimony) Establishes that a woman’s testimony is worth only half that of a man’s in court (there is no “he said/she said” gridlock in Islam).“And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women.” Muslim apologists have sometimes creatively tried to explain why a woman’s testimony…Continue
1 Corinthians 11:2-10 “For if a wife will not cover her head, then she should cut her hair short. But since it is disgraceful for a wife to cut off her hair or shave her head, let her cover her head. For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her…Continue

Genesis 3:16 Says that all women must suffer great pains during child-birth due to Eve eating the fruit of knowledge. (As if it is somehow just those humans should not pay for their ancestor’s sins nor is a woman dying in labor somehow befitting of a crime she did not commit.) The verse finishes of by saying a husband shall “rule” over his woman, stripping us off all power in between the sexes.
Genesis 19:8 Tells of a man named Lot who offers his daughters to a crowd of would…Continue

Like many modern civilizations, Japan has a patriarchal past still evident in its contemporary society. In the case of Shinto Japan’s so-called ‘indigenous’ religion, though this does not adequately describe the reality–gender roles are often reinforced through objectification and the targeted use of sight.
Male sight, specifically, occupies a privileged position in everything from ancient myths to the modern wedding ritual and continually exerts an oppressive influence on the lives…Continue

Jainism is frequently referred to as the one truly peaceful religion but is it equal? Jains seem over consensus to life even covering their mouths while walking outside so they cannot accidentally inhale a defenseless bug. This is because the Jain philosophy is that every life form whether it is the smallest bacteria to the largest animal or life form in the Universe is valuable and respected.
Surely, the Jains, are enlightened in matters of gender right? Think again.

It is often said that Confucianism is sexist. The most famous (or infamous) saying of Confucius about women is "Shaoren and girls are difficult to handle. If you get familiar with them they cease to be humble. If you keep them away, they get resentful.” (Analects 17:25) This sure sounds insulting to women. Over time Confucian teachings were expanded upon. A well-known sexist Confucianism commandments is “Since the age of seven, men and women should not share a room or food” and “When young,…Continue

Baha'i Faith, almost certainly be touted as promoting "equality of men and women" and as such would be a progressive belief almost unique in the world's religions if it was totally true. The Baha’i Faith claims to support the ideal of equality of men and women as a basic teaching.
But full equality of the sexes? Not in the Baha’i Faith as women are deprived the right to be elected as members of the Universal House of Justice.
Though Baha'u'llah, the prophet-founder of the…Continue

Sikh Faith, almost certainly be touted as promoting "equality of men and women" and as such would be a progressive belief almost unique in the world's religions if it was totally true.
Sikh women have equal rights to men supposedly because Waheguru is neither male nor female. Waheguru is a term most often used in Sikhism to refer to God, the Supreme Being or the creator of all the Divine Being [which is claimed to be genderless].
It all sounds wonderful and equal right. The…Continue

Surely, a woman who has changed her clothes at the end of her menstrual period is the most auspicious of women. When she has changed her clothes at the end of her menstrual period, therefore, one should approach that splendid woman and invite her to have sex. Should she refuse to consent, he should bribe her. If she still refuses, he should beat her with a stick or with his fists and overpower her, saying: “I take away the splendor from you with my virility and splendor…Continue

Sexism is that evil weed that can sadly grow even in the well tended garden of the individual with an otherwise developed mind. Which is why it particularly needs to be attacked and exposed; and is why I support feminism.
Happy New Year! This week I hope to burn some old dangerous bridges and expose The Men's Rights Movement.
