It seems simple, but it is hard to achieve.
We all know of the Religious killing each other over Israel and Jerusalem in particular. The Israelis have their state, the Palestinians want to have their own state. Lines have been drawn in the sand, nations of the world are backing either the Israelis or the Palestinians. Fighting for Jerusalem has caused the city to be split into sections.

Our local atheist group wears bright blue t-shirts with "Ask an Atheist" boldly printed front and back while we walk in pairs at events, the mall, etc. Our purpose is visibility and availability to answer questions. We've done this 3 months now, with generally supportive response. The visibility is working.

Ok, so of course I have to start off with why I became a christian in the first place. I was 'saved' when i was 14 at the end of June, right before my first year of high school. After reading a few letters in the Wisconsin State Journal and the Reedsburg (Wisconsin) Independent it occurred to me that anyone who reads the letters column in these publications would think that this is a christian-only part of the country.
