Bearded prophet of the meek and early archetype of the 1960s hippie.
Jesus was born Jewish, but then converted to Dudeism after he realized that the Romans and the Pharisees were fucking fascists. Today lots of people think he’s the son of the guy who created the universe and that our life is in his hands. But probably he was just a dude who thought people should mellow out and stop getting so worked up about stuff. Sadly, few of his followers seem to actually realize that.… Continue

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve read or heard from Christians that they have “a personal relationship” with Jesus Christ I would probably not be writing this on account of the unimaginable wealth I would have accumulated. You see, Christians love saying it:
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Getting to know Christ.
Jesus is my best…

Whether it's a well-known concept or not, the hypocrisy of modern Christians is startling. Well, not startling when you realize (to even their admittance) that they do not read their own Bible. But startling to us who have, and have gleaned from its pages some positive things.
Don't get me wrong, the Old Testament is worth being burned (and as a hard-core reader, who faints when the page of a book is torn, that's something for me to…

I’ve always been one to let curiosity get the best of me. On the playground as a child, I refused to use the space as it was intended the way other children did. I played on the roof, I played on the outside of the walls, I climbed up the support beams. I wasn’t inclined to be restricted by the ‘right’ way to interact with the space set out for me. This trend of individualism marked many important decisions in my life, from being an exchange student… Continue

In a recent visit to London, the Holy Vicar of Christ continues with the past lies of the Catholic Church, continues to shirk the responsibility of his Church, and continues to spread misconceptions that are obviously false.…

I've always been fascinated by born-agains. They usually are sad people, who live a miserable life and hate themselves. They want to make a change to their life, but never have the motivation to do it themselves. Once they find out about this Christ character, that like a genie he can wave a magic wand and wipe away all the wrong things they did in their lives by just accepting him as there personal 'savior' they can feel guilt free. Murderer? Cheated on your husband? Drunk and beat your kids… Continue

In The Name Of the Whip, and of the Flail and of the ...OUCH THAT HURT!
Can it really be said that one who locks himself away in a room, takes a whip or a flail that he has hanging in his closet, kneels or sits and begins beating himself is psychologically healthy? Is it not a sign of distress? Would it not be thought of as a 'cry for help', if you will allow me the cliche, to cause your self physical harm because of an… Continue

Yeah, that's right! I'm one of those godless heathen non-believers, and I say that your holy book is full of inaccuracies! It's not historically reliable at all, let alone divine and inerrant! Apparently there was a blog about a woman who made that tough decision to give birth to her baby, even though it was terminally ill. However, a little bit of research exposed this woman as not pregnant.
The whole thing was a hoax.

I guess I don't have to tell you guys, the last thing you want to be telling people who suffer from delusions is that mystical demons roam amongst them. But society has a huge problem with calling people's religion into question, this

In my work as an advocate for foster children in America, I’ve seen personally a level of abuse that might damage the psyche of an average person. I once saw a two year old child, with a face still so swollen he couldn’t open his eyes, returned to abusive home after two weeks in the hospital because “it was just the first time it happened.” So when I hear the abuse word thrown out willy-nilly, devaluing the plight of children who are actually abused, it makes me want to start a crusade.… Continue

Jesus Christ had seen many problems with Old religion Judaism as a young man of whom seemingly was a free thinker. Of who not only questioned his own religion but those of other surrounding cultures?
Israel was not cut off from the world traders from Asia and from the Roman empire would relate their own cultural beliefs when on their travels to and throw in the middle east. Greek philosophy and the philosophy’s of Asia would of course be a conversational norm in… Continue

As out spoken Atheist we are always bitching about the stupid things we see in the Christian Bible (well I do, lol).
A few weeks ago I was thinking well look this guy Christ I can believe he walked on earth 2000 years ago. But magic no, I have seen how such tricks are done it’s all slight of hand, lol But of course I throw coins sometimes in to a wishing well and have a vague idea that I have a 1000000 to 1 chance of my wish to come true. Other than being the King of England of… Continue
