Yes We All Have Beliefs

Atheist please stop saying you have no beliefs.

Well we all have beliefs its unavoidable. The issue is having justified true beliefs that hold warrant or are valid and reliable because of reason and evidence.

I am not directing this at anyone, I am only stating this trying to help.

Even saying I don't have a belief is exhibiting a belief that you don't have a belief.

To me beliefs are not what's the problem its having…

Normalizing disbelief

Sorry the like did not go up. I am finding that links don't seem to work on AN much of the time. I just pasted it in. See below.

Just watched a video clip with Dale McGowan, one of my heros. The clip is excellent but he makes one statement that bears repeating. We all just need to be "out" and let people know in a matter of fact way that we are non-believers. "Creating a world in which disbelief is normalized." There are lots of so-called proofs/disproofs of god. But is your disbelief based on reason or at a deeper emotional level?

I was raised in a non-believing family, so god never really made sense to me. Even though the rational arguments either way are intellectually interesting, I'm convinced they have little to do with people believing or disbelieving in god. Or, at least, I can't see that rational arguments alone would convert someone. Is that so?
