Religiously unaffiliated Americans are the new powerhouse political bloc. But only if they vote.

I honestly think the next election will bring in huge advances for the GOP, as well as giving us a conservative president. Why is that, you ask? Conservatives have been working assiduously over the last eight years to pass voter ID laws that make it nearly impossible for many people to vote. But I'm confident they have more shenanigans up their sleeve. Come election day we're going to see all kinds of "irregularities" going on…

Human spirit, not God, will lift people of Iran

The tweets come from all over the world. Humanity is uniting. One tweet that stands out, “On 9/11 the world said we were Americans. Today, we're Iranians.” When times get hard, when it seems like there is no hope, the human spirit rises above everything else. It lifts those that are tired, it heals those that are wounded, and it cuts through differences to find common ground – freedom.

Tim Pawlenty, veto machine!

It's been reported this week that John "McSame" McCain has been cavorting with his potential V.P. candidates. One name that's supposedly high on his list is Minnesota Governor Tim "T-Paw" Pawlenty. If Dick Cheney was the dark emperor from 'Star Wars' this guy wouldn't just be his Darth Vader...he'd kill him in a bid for power and use the corpse as a chair.
