A seven year-old boy led officers on a car chase in an effort to avoid going to church.

Witnesses reported a child driving recklessly Sunday morning. Two officers caught up with the boy and tried unsuccessfully to stop the Dodge Trepid. The car reach 40mph before stopping in a driveway, with child fleeing inside the home.

When confronted, the boy said he didn't want to go to church reports the Associated Press.…

What happens when your kid’s an atheist and you send them to Sunday school…

Abortion: what some are being forced to turn too.

Found this on the net and thought I’d share it with you. As some of you know, my feelings about abortion is this: While I think no one is keen on the “idea” of abortion, I want to see it kept legal because if a women wants to have that procedure done, she’ll find a way to do it. Years ago before Roe vs. Wade, doctors “knew” a doctor who would perform the procedure or someone who could perform the “procedure.”

I found this in the June 20th issue of The Economist magazine. I get it time to time. I first came across it back in the late 1970’s to early 80’s. It’s one of those publications that has been around for decades. This article is about church attendance in recessions. It’s titled, “No Rush For Pews” and can be found on page 32.
