I've been missing

I have been inactive on the nexus for a while. 

I have been dealing with an illness. I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. 

For a while I thought I hurt myself lifting weights, biking, or playing with my girls. I chalked it up to old age. But, the joints didn't heal. Then I got what I thought was the flu. But, it wasn't that bad. Eventually I ended up at the doc. She said that it looks like arthritis but she wasn't sure and she thought that I was too young and my…

Atheist, Rationalist, Freethinker Holiday

My workplace has a list of religious holidays that they recognized as part of our cultural diversity I don't think the list below is meant to be all inclusive but it is the recognized holiday's. Darwin Day and Evolution Day are the two holidays’ that do not have a religious association. I am glad that they are listed but I feel unsatisfied with those two days. They are too similar and don’t reflect us accurately.
