Missing

I have been missing from this community for quite some time.  I had a stroke in April 2011 and was focused on bettering myself for many years. My kids were 3yrs old and 15 months old when it happened. I went seven weeks with only seeing them once.  When I got home, I still had much work to do.  I am just starting to feel "normal" which is really a new normal because I will never feel my old normal again. I am nine years post stroke and I still get nauseated if I over do it, I still get dizzy…

Arrived

Drake arrived on December 11th @ 1308 hours. He was 7 pounds 2 ounces and 19 and 3/4 inches long. He is just precious. His hospital pics are great. I was really impressed. Piper's hospital pics were terrible. I will post pics as soon as I can. The following is a link to his hospital pics until I can get up some pics.…

expecting....

So we are expecting Drake to arrive sometime in the next 3 weeks and I am trying to finish my first semester of grad school, yikes!!! Stress city.....

New to the community

I am so excited about finding this community. I have been an atheist for a few years and before that I called myself an agnostic. I was raised christian but have never been able to reconcile their beliefs with what is rational. My husband doesn't like to use the word atheist because of its alienating effect on people, he likes to call us rationalists.
