Bill S. 1867 passed last night with a nearly unanimous vote. For those of you living under rocks, this bill is the National Defense Authorization Act, which is renewed every year, but which this year includes the declaration that "the entire USA is a “battleground” upon which U.S. military forces can operate with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus and granting the military the unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate U.S. citizens with impunity."  -…
