Anxiously* awaiting baby...

*But not patiently.

So here we sit after yet another visit with the midwife, with no baby yet born and our hopes of breaking waters tomorrow as an induction shattered. She's not dilated enough to even attempt to break waters, and we're running low on time. Another Day Goes By...

And no baby yet.

Wife was technically due the 16th, but she carries longer. Law of averages and all that (in order for the "average" woman to carry to 40 weeks then it stands to reason that for every woman who labors at 38 weeks there must be one who labors at 42 weeks... or something like that. I'm not great at the maths). Our first was induced at 6 days past "due," and our second at 17 days past "due," and this one doesn't look like she's going to break the mold in that respect. What have I been up to?

Not that I expect anyone to really care, but here it is anyway, the reasons I've been away for so long:

1. Making my way through my last semester and student internship so that I can get my teaching license.

2. Procreating yet again with my lovely wife. Child #3 is due any day now.

3. Volunteering at a local school that is sadly lacking a Theatre department, yet has an AWESOME facility for it.
