Bipolar: Black, Bent but Unbroken

I am bipolar. I tried every way I could to put together a snappy lead sentence that would provide a little suspense, curiosity and provoke an old-fashioned interest in dirty laundry, but none of it seemed appropriate for a disease that can for many, be so crippling as to ruin or end lives.

Homosexuality and the Bible: Give Me a Break!

With the recent controversy over laws in Indiana and Arkansas that allow Christian discrimination against homosexuals, I am compelled to point out the hypocrisy of those implementing such laws, as being incompetent, irrelevant, and immaterial.
