For all of you Douglas Adams and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fans, here are a couple of his other notable works: two serials from the long-running, classic British sci-fi show Doctor Who. Both of these serials are from what is considered the golden age of the show: the run of Tom Baker as the 4th incarnation of the eccentric, eponymous Doctor.

If you've never been exposed to the classic series of Doctor Who, these are great ones to come in on. The City of Death is widely considered to be one of the best stories in the show's history; and The Pirate Planet is a great chapter in the legendary "Key to Time" super-serial. They'll respectively eat up quite a bit of time if you are looking to kill some, and at the very least the dated speciial effects should give you a chuckle, even if the humour fails to. (keep your eyes peeled for a John Cleese cameo in City of Death)

Remember: Don't Panic, and always carry your sonic screwdriver.

For those of you that are fans of the new series, you have a reason to be excited for Easter this year. The 6th series of the Doctor Who reboot will be debuting in both the UK and US on BBC and BBC America this Zombie Day. Forget undead saviors, peeps, and chocolate bunnies: the Doctor is in!

A John Cleese cameo?? Count me in! I'll be killing some more of my nonexistent time with City of Death. Thanks again Gordon!
