Just writing to introduce myself. I'm not sure of protocol here, yet. The items that might be of interest to fellow non-theists include the following:
- I have a website called http://www.TalkingTimeline.com. It has various articles I've written, and it houses a project I've been working on - off and on - for about seven years now, which is a large timeline spanning from the big bang to modern time. It chronicles religious events beside non-religious historical events to see how each influence the other.
- I recently started a foundation called Humanists for Equal Rights. We are secular humanist who advocate equal rights for those who are opposed by groups that exhibit misguided entitlement. For example, we support non-theists who seek equal treatment in their fundamental rights to freedom of religion, gays who seek equal access to civil marriage rights, and women who feel that religious opinions are too influential on women's health issues.
- I'm one of the authors of a book that being published in a couple of months called Atheist Voices of Minnesota. Check it out: http://www.freethoughthouse.com/atheist-voices-of-mn.html
- I'd really appreciate it if you'd like my Facebook page: Humanist for Equal Rights at the following link: http://www.facebook.com/HumanistsForEqualRights
