A new semester starts for me next week. I am now a sophomore. More nutrition classes, more science. Also, I am taking math and Italian, so it is going to be pretty busy.  And, I am starting in work study this semester. I have worked part time and gone to school before, in culinary school. I think I can handle this.

I am glad I am half done with this associates, but am now trying to decide if I want to go on for my bachelors, and whether to try continuing in nutrition, or change to public health, or something else. I would really like to go on, but am not totally sure what my funding options will look like after this school year. That will determine whether I go on or not. What way to go if I can go on is trickier. But, I guess I will determine that as I move on.

I am excited about the future, even if I am somewhat unsure about it. That's life.

Rhonda, do what you like and find some idiot to pay you for it!

Go, Rhonda. Do what excites you.

I took eight years to get a four-year degree, trying two major fields before I found one I liked enough to make it a career. The GI Bill and a night shift job helped me pay for my degree and I retired from that work. My wife and I did not clutter our lives by adding to the earth’s population.

There’s nothing better than doing work for pay that you like enough to do for free.

Hey, if you're learning, you're growing, and there is NOTHING wrong with that!  ROCK ON!
