Well, there seems to be a new one every week, a Christian who claims atheism is a kind of faith. So let's parse this nonsense and explain again the chasm of distinction between belief and non-belief. (You'd think it would be so obvious they aren't the same thing, but you'd be surprised.)

There is a reason one of the morman angels is named Moroni. I find it amazing that these people can write and pontificate about us...what we think, believe, live our lives...and yet, not one of them seems to have actually spoken to a non-believer. I guess ignorance (and stupidity) is bliss. Besides...it sure as hell sells more news. Why fuck up a good thing with facts?? Oh....right.....that's our job.

Angie, I am always amazed at how clearly and succinctly you are able to convey your ideas and speak rationally when people like Breda O'Brien make unfounded and/or false assertions about atheists. Thanks for sharing this. I wish I had your talent!
