Fighting Against The Gay Agenda - Show 500! Next Week. Oct 1st.

Next Week! Show 500! Fighting Against "The Gay Agenda". Atheist Rapper Charlie Check'm reappears but in a different capacity this time. Chuck can now add Anti-Gay and anti-fat women to his repertoire. Check'm says he doesn't hate gays but believes that "homos" have brain damage and that they shouldn't be allowed to marry.

He makes an appearance to defend his stance and also explains why he thinks any rational person, especially atheists and agnostics, should also be against the "gay agenda".

You can read much of what Chuck has to say about this issue here:

October 1st @ 8PM ET. LIVE.

We are also discussing this show on facebook.

Wow.. I don't really understand what you expected to gain from telling me this. I have been doing my show for 10 years. Perhaps that's why I have 500 shows under my belt. I think my programs are okay. Some worse than others, most okay. The shows you think are bad are shows that I probably think are bad too. If you aren't interested, no problem. I just don't see the need to insult me in the process.

How the hell did you make it to 500 shows?

I tried to listen to three of your shows in the past and couldn't sit through any of them. Back in April AASHOM was pulling for you (evangelizing for you as I put it to him) after your "Million Dollar Challenge." He convinced me that it was just coincidence that I listened to your worst shows, I mean, you did just have Eugenie Scott on; definite bonus on your part. But it still took me this long to listen to another one... Was it just coincidence that I listened to all four of your worst shows ever? Actually, I couldn't get through this one either.

You seem like a genuinely good guy. Maybe I'm just a little ADD when it comes to your show. I'll give the next one a shot but that's it! Thanks for all your work anyway. It definitely has positive impacts on a vast majority of my brothers in heathenism.

Education and history does matter in western culture. But I remembered a chemistry teacher of mine in Jamaica saying he believes gays should be beaten. Many tend to overlook the connection between religion and slavery because its a sensitive issue. But its quite fascinating to me as the former colonies have became awkward theocratic democracies.

RealType: Do you have any statistics on what countries are and are not, in general, homophobic? It seems to me many, if not most, are. I wonder if it gets down to a matter of degrees, and history.

I was also a homophobic atheist because of cultural patriotism. However when I came to Toronto I realized that the majority of the black gay community were Jamaicans. That was when I started thinking about the closet cultures of traditionally homophobic countries like Jamaica.

Hey Reggie - can you get a psychiatrist onto the show as well because Charlie's main argument will be that homosexuals have 'abnormal brains'. If you can knock that argument out from under him, he'll be left floundering. His other big complaint is that homosexuals are trying to turn straight people queer so they'll have a larger base of sexual partners to choose from. If you, or another guest, can attack these two premises, the rest of Charlie's argument will crumble like a pack of cards.

Hey no problem Dave. Every time I have on someone with whatever crazy belief, I always have someone ask, "But why have this jerk on" or something. It was a very hard decision. I have refused to have Charlie on for years now because I felt he was slipping. I just feel that this needs addressing. He isn't the only one unfortunately. :)

Charlie da Checker is homophobic. He claims to be an atheist but supports unscientific and irrational theist-based ideas regarding gays. Responding to the question: “Do Atheists Hate Gays?” Charlie da Checker was not able to articulate a non-theist argument to support his assertion that gays should not marry and continued to spew anti-gay vitriol. Sounds like a christian/mormon/moslem to me. One cannot use logic with people like that. Good luck, and I'm sure he appreciates the opportunity to be on stage again.

Thanks Aces. I'm also left-handed.

When the illustrious Mr. Check'm started spewing his hatred on the site, the original discussion was one of the hottest here. All sorts of people chimed in with information (like links to scientific studies) rebutting his assertions. Some were actually pleasant.
He didn't want to hear.

Mr. Finley, more power to you. You may not be able to open his mind, but maybe people listening to the show will be moved by your reason.

Homo and bi sexuality has been well documented in over 450 species of the animal kingdom. And since homosexuality continues to survive natural selection, actually becoming more progressive in social communities, it cannot be considered "unnatural". Here are a few articles to substantiate this:

The Gay Animal Kingdom, SEED Magazine.

The Natural "Crime Against Nature", by J.B.S. Haldane, evolutionary biologist.

1,500 animal species practice homosexuality; The Medical News.

So Mr. Charlie appears to be working with a false presupposition. All this science has been verified. Mr. Charlie needs to be forced to come up with scientific evidence that disputes this or admit that his working hypothesis is factually false. If he lays claim to reason (as opposed to superstition) he must account with verifiable scientific evidence to counter the volumes of evidence against his claim.

Otherwise he is a closed-minded, superstitious bigot by definition. May as well be hateful against the left-handed, too. (Clearly their wiring is crossed.)
