A Druid online acquaintance of mine sent me an an email on another site stating for one thing that "Interestingly, quantum physics has proven the interconnectedness and the existence of Divine Universal Energy that the mystics have spoken of for thousands of years."

I responded in my next letter with "'Quantum physics has PROVEN the interconnectedness and the existence of Devine Universal Energy?'. I've seen several documentaries and lectures that included quantum physics and not once did they mention the interconnectedness and the existence of Devine Universal Energy. I'm gonna have to call you on that one...lol You don't have to 'prove' it but what empirical evidence do you have that 'supports' that claim? I must warn you that if your supporting evidence makes it's own claim that needs supporting empirical evidence, I'll have to call you on that too. lol".

They responded back with "OK, here's an article that refers to the movie I watched where this was all explained: http://integrallife.com/apply/science-technology/does-quantum-physi...".

Within two minutes of starting the podcast, I'm sure my ears started to bleed...lol I really regret stopping and replaying parts that I was sure that I hadn't heard right but had. By the conclusion of the podcast, I'm sure that I must now have a brain hemorrhage if not cancer. LOL

God is shuffling around and talking to himself in the sixth dimension with pee stains on his underwear; I think "M" theory establishes that.

Hello Ron Peacemaker,

Yes, all that Deepak Chopra is doing is using “quantum jargon” on people who know no better in order to promote/sale his books and lectures on quantum healing. But Chopra does not provide any empirical evidence to support his claims.

It is kind of like the pseudo scientific film that JZ Knight, and some students of the Ramtha's School of Enlightenment put out entitled “What the Bleep Do We Know!?” Wherein the film suggested that a person can control/change their own reality by thought alone, and that there is also an ultimate observer(a god); I supposed in reference to Heisenberg uncertainty principle and/or the confirmed Double Slit Experiment.

And to answer your original question in the title: [Does Quantum Physics Prove god?] No.

"Deepak Chopra, who once qualified as a doctor ..."

Dawkins rocks!

@T.A., @G.S. -- Funny! You'll have to work that cat in there next time...lol

Richard Dawkins: "In the middle ages, healers would conjure up evil spirits or magical spells. Now, in the twenty-first century, they turn to black holes. And above all, Quantum Physics... ...Isn't Deepak Chopra just exploiting quantum jargon as plausable sounding hocus pocus?"

Divine Universal Energy? - what does he mean by that? Universal Energy might just be a redundant term. As far as we can tell, energy is pretty universal. How could quantum physics ever prove 'divinity.' Unless, he is using it like: "That meal was divine." I'd be okay with that.

Funny though - some of that 'universal energy' appears to be having this conversation ...

@T.A. -- Was the cat dead or alive when you got there?
