Fundamentals of Extremism book along with another maybe, The Family.
These are must read materials to better understand the intricacies in regards to denominations, sects and cults in America; and abroad for that matter...

Tis true, I was brought up in Waldorf day/after-school care, and the fundamentals of that approach are deeply engrained in my personality, I couldn't get rid of them even if I wanted to. They shaped me into what I am today.

But it's been shown time and time again that an education in the arts promotes analytical thinking, where as study after study has shown that religious education results in rigid thinking.

As children do not have a choice in what type of education they receive, and the effects of that education will stay with them their entire life, those parents who enrol their children in religious schools knowing full well the detrimental effects such an environment will have on a child are acting contrary to the best interests of that child, and are thus guilty of abuse.

Ridiculous. In his blog, he mentions "critical thinking" while painting all Christian beliefs with a broad brush.
