I am working on building a school in Kahendero which will serve educating young children aged between 3 years to 8 years.
At this site there is also a small clinic built with funds from a generous person and will be named Jane Shrimpton Clinic which is aimed to serve the medical needs of the children going to this school plus attending to the local people in the Kahendero Fishing village area.
I have just concluded shuttering a three roomed house that will serve as a kitchen area with a small store room plus a dining space where the children will be having their meals when the school opens.
On a related development, i am building a pit latrine which has already been slabbed and its brick wall now at window base and hope to complete it in 4 days. The funds making this happen was donated by Henri & Dianne , an american family based in California, USA.
