Well, in school I have recently attended a few Bible Study classes just out of pure interest. During most of I I could barely stop myself from laughing, but today however, I was fuming. The teacher was talking about how the Bible was the infallible word of God and that they were God's instruments, she also commented on how "secular-humanists" A.K.A. Atheists are close minded and seek simple Earthly pleasures to fill the void left by their lack of faith in God. I just wanted to yell, especially when she said that the bible is absolutely true, word-for-word, when she said that I just wanted to point out some of the various contradictions in the Bible or even ask her to read the verse in Corinthians about how women are inferior.

Here's a start. From hillbillyatheist:
"okay so the bible is gods literal words.

how do you explain this:

in Matthew the genealogy of Jesus says that Joseph is the son of Jacob, yet in Luke it says his father is Heli.

do you think jews are against all of mankind?

1 Thessalonians 2:14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men

do you think the disabled should be banned from church?

Leviticus 21:16 ¶And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

19 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,

20 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

23 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

does working on sunday warrant the death penalty?

Numbers 15:32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.

33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.

34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.

35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.

36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him

and lastly do you agree with the following passage? (that would almost be mistaken for a passage from the qur'an?)

(Deuteronomy 20:10-14)

20:10 When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.

20:11 And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is

found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.

20:12 And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:

20:13 And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge

of the sword:

20:14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou

take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

Are we supposed to go eye for an eye or turn the other cheek? Also, ask her about the spiritual significance of Malachi 2:3 (God threatens to shove shite on the faces of non-believers). Oh, and ask her which creation story is correct - the one in Genesis 1 or Genesis 2.

Excellent idea! I should write this down.
