Don't ask, don't tell - Land of the free, home of the straight...

Sometimes we give the strangest directions to our citizens. Our military is expected to be upstanding, possessing unequivocal honesty, integrity and devotion to this country, as well as possess the ability to understand orders and follow them unquestioningly. Wait - unless they’re bad orders, then they are required to not follow them; further, to report them, and by so doing, do the right thing.

How’s a good soldier to know what to do? When can he or she know an order is ‘bad’ versus when to follow it
without question? How is that even possible?
